Course Manager
Job Role and Expectations:
Role overview: The Adventure Fit Course Manager is
responsible for developing event courses, developing obstacles, transportation
and maintenance of obstacles, and communicating efficiently with partners in
order to ensure a professional course.
Key Responsibilities:
·
Concepting obstacles based on Adventure Fit
event objectives
·
Building/sourcing obstacles for each event
·
Testing and maintaining obstacles and vehicles following
and prior to each event
·
Working with Event Managers to incorporate
necessary elements of sponsorships into the course/obstacles
·
Developing excel spreadsheet of all necessary
materials to pack for each event related to course
·
Packing truck / trailer using list developed –
working specifically with Event Managers to double check necessary items
·
Communicating with local event partners and
hired services for event course / obstacle set up
·
Driving event equipment to and from each event
(1-ton pick up and 27’ trailer)
·
Set up and break down of obstacle course
·
Management of independent contractors and
volunteers brought on for events.
Expectations and Deliverables:
·
One-on-one meeting with Adventure Fit Management
every 3 months to review responsibilities and level of completion
·
Delivering Course description 1 month prior to each
event production including map and locations of obstacles/checkpoints
·
Ability to travel up to two weeks out of the
month during event season
·
Ability to deliver results not excuses
